1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LatteLog ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Connor Thorpe ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietor operating LatteLog.

2. About LatteLog

LatteLog is a personal coffee journaling app that allows you to track and document your cafe visits and coffee experiences.

Service Tiers:

• Free Version: Includes limited journal entries, basic statistics, and select background wallpapers

• LatteLog Premium: One-time purchase providing unlimited entries, advanced statistics, all background wallpapers, and future premium features

The specific features and limits of each tier may change from time to time. Current feature details are displayed in the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use LatteLog. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

Creating an Account
To use LatteLog, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information

• Maintain the security of your account credentials

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

• Be responsible for all activity under your account

Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

5. In-App Purchases

LatteLog Premium
The LatteLog Premium tier is available as a one-time purchase through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing Premium, you gain immediate and permanent access to premium features for as long as the App remains available.

Pricing
LatteLog Premium pricing varies by region and is displayed in your local currency in the App Store or Google Play Store at the time of purchase. We may offer promotional pricing for early adopters or special events.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes apply only to future purchases and do not affect users who have already purchased Premium.

Payment Processing
All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment terms, billing, and refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's terms and policies.

Refunds
Refund requests must be made according to the platform's refund policies:

• Apple App Store: All refund requests must be made directly to Apple at Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds ourselves but are notified when refunds are granted.

• Google Play Store: Refund requests can be made through Google at Google's refund policy or, in certain cases, may be processed through our payment processor (RevenueCat).

Once Premium access is granted and you begin using premium features, purchases are generally considered final under Apple's and Google's policies.

Access After Refund
If you receive a refund through Apple, Google, or our payment processor, your LatteLog Premium access will be revoked immediately.

Promotional Codes
We may offer promotional codes for discounted or free Premium access. Promo codes are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, may have expiration dates or usage limits, and may be revoked if obtained fraudulently.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use LatteLog only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws

• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App's security

• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to access the App

• Circumvent any access restrictions or payment systems

• Upload malicious code or harmful content

• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Rights
LatteLog, including all code, design, graphics, illustrations, logos, and content, is owned by Connor Thorpe and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Your Content
You retain all rights to your journal entries and content you create within LatteLog ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and sync your User Content solely for providing the App's services.

Our Illustrations
All coffee drink illustrations in LatteLog are our proprietary designs. You may not extract, reproduce, or use these illustrations outside the App without explicit written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of LatteLog is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability and Changes

No Guarantee of Service
LatteLog is operated by a sole proprietor with limited resources. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service

• That the App will be available at all times

• That data will never be lost

• Any specific response time for support inquiries

• Continued operation of the App indefinitely

We may suspend, modify, discontinue, or permanently shut down the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to maintenance, business decisions, or resource constraints.

Service Changes
We reserve the right to:

• Add, modify, or remove features at any time

• Change the allocation of Free vs. LatteLog Premium features

• Discontinue the App with 30 days' notice (when reasonably possible)

Beta Versions
Pre-release or beta versions (including TestFlight or Google Play internal testing builds) are provided for testing purposes only. Beta versions may be unstable, contain bugs, and are provided with absolutely no warranties. Beta access may be revoked at any time without notice.

10. Disclaimers

AS-IS Service
LatteLog is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

• Warranties that the App will meet your requirements

• Warranties that the App is free from errors, viruses, or bugs

• Warranties regarding availability, reliability, or accuracy

No Professional Advice
LatteLog is a personal journaling tool for entertainment and personal tracking purposes only. Any information, statistics, or insights provided by the App do not constitute professional, medical, nutritional, or any other type of advice.

Solo Operation
This App is developed and operated by a single individual. Support and maintenance are provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed response times or availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY NORWEGIAN LAW:

We are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, or goodwill

• Business interruption or lost business opportunities

• Service interruptions, delays, or data loss

• Unauthorized access to your account

• Third-party actions, content, or services

• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for any and all claims related to LatteLog shall not exceed the lesser of: (a) the amount you paid for LatteLog Premium access in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) 500 NOK.

Norwegian Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under Norwegian consumer protection law (Forbrukerkjøpsloven). If any provision conflicts with mandatory Norwegian consumer rights, those rights prevail.

Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• Any liability that cannot be excluded under Norwegian law

12. Termination

By You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the App's settings or contacting us at pixelrainstudios@gmail.com.

By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice or refund, if:

• You violate these Terms

• We're required to do so by law

• We discontinue the App

• We determine, in our sole discretion, that termination is necessary

Upon termination:

• Your access to LatteLog Premium features (if purchased) will be revoked without refund

• Your User Content may be permanently deleted

• You remain responsible for any outstanding obligations

Effect of Termination
No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts, except where required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes via:

• Email to your registered address, or

• In-app notification, or

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document

Your continued use of LatteLog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree to the changes, you must stop using the App.

14. Third-Party Services

LatteLog integrates with third-party services (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, payment processors, cloud storage). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their actions, or any issues arising from them.

15. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law.

Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of LatteLog shall be resolved in the courts of Stavanger, Norway.

Informal Resolution First
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at pixelrainstudios@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally. This requirement does not limit your mandatory consumer rights.

European Union Users
If you're located in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

16. General Provisions

Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LatteLog.

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may freely assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.

Language
These Terms are provided in English. If translated, the English version controls in case of conflict.

Independent Operation
LatteLog is operated independently by Connor Thorpe as a sole proprietorship. There are no partners, employees, or parent companies responsible for these obligations.
